MY FUNNY VALENTINE

I hope that you spent valentines day with the ones you LOVE.
Instead of a dinner for two, out
I decided to show my boys how much I LOVE them through their stomachs.
We enjoyed a nice dinner at home complete with
candles, flowers, festive drinks, candy
chocolate covered strawberries, blackberry ribs, roasted asparagus
and YUMMY orange rolls.
We had valentine conversation about first kisses and laughed
and enjoyed each others company.
Sure love my boys.

WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING

100 MILES
8 hours
at least 40 dresses
5 different stores
yummy lunch @ the Nordstrom Cafe
spending the day with Ally
PRICELESS!
purchased the first dress of the day, at the end of the day
she is going to look amazing on her wedding day
when crawling into bed after our dress shopping day
caught the very beginning of
Father of the Bride,
and i felt a little like Steve Martins character
when his daughter has just told him that she is in love and engaged
and he flashes back to the little girl of earlier years
we are so happy for her happiness,
but it is very surreal that we bought a wedding dress today

ENGAGED TO BE WED

here is the newly engaged couple
on the pier in Lake Tahoe
where Collin Knudsen got down on one knee and proposed
and she said YES, with tears
very few times as she cried over something,
one of those other times upon receiving a autographed picture of
Derek Jetter, so Collin feel lucky
the big day is going to be in January
what fun we will have planning this event
time really does fly by
i remember a balding old man in the elevator at the hospital
the day we brought her home,
was jealous of all the hair she had at birth
CONGRATULATIONS
ALLY AND COLLIN
dad and I love you lots

BACK TO SCHOOL

where did the summer go?
spent the day
attending my last and final
back-to-school night at
CASCADE ELEMENTARY
all four of our children attended this great school
it's time for me to grow up and leave
GO, CASCADE COUGARS
spent 1 1/2 hours in the counseling center this morning
finalizing the schedule for my third, Mitchell
OREM HIGH TIGER
WOW!
really cool note,
he went to find and check out his new locker,
while opening, looked up to see a sign from 2007
SUPERLATIVE SENIORS from that class
to see his older brothers name,
FUTURE U.S. PRESIDENT - ALEC FOWLER
a neat thought that his older brother will be watching over
the younger brother as he takes on high school.
GO OREM TIGERS!
