CHRISTMAS ENRICHMENT

i have been the enrichment leader in my ward for the past 4 years

last week we held our Christmas event

the evening consisted of food, entertainment, service angel tree and

a how-to class, learning how to crochet hats to be presented

to the Hunstman Cancer Center

this is a sampling of a table that myself and dear friend Gloria

set for the evening

at this time of year may we find ourselves serving

my four wonderful children my home my parents a father who is cancer free my brothers and sisters my health my faith in a greater power a son serving a mission in New York family to spend the day with, in a cozy charming home for brave men and women who protect our country

my friends

all flowers, especially tulips and rannuculus

little things

kissing my son every night at bedtime

(he too, like the other three will grow out of this ritual)

laughter

a good game of Yatzhee

pumpkin pie and my mothers homemade rolls

give thanks!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

happy 4th of July weekend

jeff and i started our weekend with a bike ride up Provo Canyon

past Bridal Veil Falls and up to Vivian Park

what a beautiful place we live

we will enjoy fireworks this weekend

both in the cul-de-sac with family

and the Stadium of Fire fireworks

sure am proud to be an American

we have 36 coming to BBQ

food, fun and family

wouldn't want to be doing anything else this weekend
