on my recent visit to las vegas

ran across these beauties

at the MGM Grand Hotel

this is one of my favorite things to do

while in vegas, cruise

the hotels and see what great

florals they have created

i put this floral together for our ward annual

Relief Society Birthday Auction tonight,

where sisters donate goods or services,

and we bid, with fake money for the items.

this was my donation,

and it made me wish for spring to be here,

i've noticed a few crocus buds and tulip stems

peeking

through the ground.

found a great new ground cover

The weather has been so wet and dreary lately, making me wish that my LILACS were still in bloom. Growing up as a child, my grandmothers backyard was full of LILACS, brings such great memories each spring when they blossom and the fragrance is in the air. I would highly recommend everyone planting one or more varieties in your yard.
